Your iris is just lovely, thank you for sharing! Unfortunately bearded iris do not like our cool and moist climate and I now grow moisture loving irises. However, some PCNs will survive here under special growing conditions. 

When I saw your address, I thought of Robyn, you must know her. It was such a pleasure to meet Robyn here in Switzerland!

This old cultivar seems related to the iris in discussion. We know it as 'Manon' here in South Australia. To me it is a miniature tall bearded so Iris pallida in the background makes sense. Very elegant and tall with thin stems and small flowers.
