RE: Greetings!

Welcome to you, Tom.

I've only belonged to the iris-species group for a few months, learned lots, and want ALL the iris I've seen pictured here.  Although I've managed to collect over 1000 different iris throughout the years, and have an iris display garden, I've only recently started growing more species iris.

Over last winter, I also helped update the new Iris Encyclopedia that Bob was talking about.  All too soon, it'll be time to get back to that winter passtime.

Subject: [iris-species] Greetings!

Hello, everyone!

I recently joined SIGNA and this discussion group. I've been in and out of the iris hobby a few times over the last 30 years. (Some of you may remember me as Tom (Tadfor) Little.)

My wife and I recently bought a house on 1.1 acres in rural New Mexico, so I'm looking forward to many years of gardening ahead. My interest in iris species is mostly focused on bearded and aril types, although I do try a bit of everything.

I won't burden this message with my bio and hybridizing interests, but you are welcome to visit my website at http://www.telp.com/irises/ (still a work in progress) to see what I'm up to.

All the best,

Tom
