Hi Don:
I've never personally suffered any scorch.... nor have my irises, but I DO
remember watching Tony and Dorothy Willott demonstrating CPR techniques in a
garden one time. I will let them give the particulars, but I seem to
remember that they dug up the iris, cut off the dead part (evidenced by the
shriveled roots), treated the soil and replanted the iris.
I believe Tony and Dorothy have had success with their technique.
