Yes Kathy it is scary. Even if the retailer just labels the iris as "blue"
or "white" (like that will ever happen!) the consumer might still try to
label it after bloom. I understand the need to make a buck but I think that
this will become a long term problem to the iris world. We have stayed away
from selling un-named iris, have plenty of the named varieties available for
wholesale.
