Would this not be a problem for the registration process? Seems to me
that if the description of the iris were extensive and accurate, and the
checklists widely distributed, especially to judges, you'd at least have
accuracy at the Show bench. The Shows are the place to educate the
public and an accredited SOCIETY SHOW might be hyped as THE place to
find accurate info.

That won't eliminate the problem at all, but maybe put it into a smaller
corner?? Does anyone REALLY care what the consumer calls the iris??
