My understanding is that it is precisely because of this residual oil film
that it is suitable for use on wood, which is its chief raison d'etre. But
what feels like an oily film could be a film that only feels oily, if you
catch my drift. I'm out of MOS right now after doing a number on my wood
floors last weekend, or I'd check the bottle myself.
