AIS, Region 4 will be holding its Spring Meeting in Norfolk, VA on the 28th
& 29th of April. On Friday the 28th we will have our 13th Annual Iris Show,
complete with a Federation of Garden Club Design Division, the Regional
Meeting that afternoon, Judges' Training by Dr Roy Epperson on " Ethics of
Judging & Entering A Show" (2 hours JT), our welcome banquet, and an
auction. Saturday Morning starts out with a morning tour of several gardens
and lunch, followed by an afternoon tour of the Norfolk Botanical Gardens
who will also be hosting the Internationally known Azalea Garden Festival
and either a train or boat ride thru the gardens. Saturday afternoon Dr
Epperson will also be giving Judges' Training on "Awards & Balloting" (2
hours JT). Oh, did I forget to mention that our Guest Speaker is someone
familiar to you iris-talkers - Dr. Bill Shear!!! Copies of his book "The
Gardener's Iris Book" will be available for sale. Buy your copy here or
bring your copy for Bill to sign. Looks like the making of an exciting
Spring Regional Meeting! Registration cost is $90.00 per person. If
