Very true, but confirmed coyote killings of humans in the USA are ahead
of confirmed killings by wolves (by a 1-to-0 score).

The killing occurred in the hills of Glendale CA, just a few miles from
where I live. It was the result of two things. People were leaving food
out for the coyotes (a bad idea). Someone left a two-year-old out
unattended in a stroller (a very bad idea). 

Sure can't blame the coyotes for that one.
