I cannot comment on WV, but 99% of the SDB's here never achieve their registered
height. PINK REVELRY is in bloom now and it is well above the
foliage on a first year plant, so I have an exception to go along with
PRIVILEGED CHARACTER.
I have a pod on COCOA PINK that is probably two inches from
the ground. It was such a cutey with its blue beard that I just had
to perpetuate that blue beard on something taller....we'll see.
VIOLET LULU (a luminata) has bloomed between rains, and it
is really a sweetie, too. I had wanted to put pollen on it from
another luminata seedling I have, but the constant mist prevents
that. It is above the tiny foliage and probably stands no more than
four inches high.

near 90o for the tours in Dallas on Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursday....wonder what David Finfrock and Troy D. have
predicted?)
