Re: AIS: Dressing for Dallas


    This is the hardest part of going to a convention.  Kathy nailed the banquets
pretty well (usually a tie for closing banquet but not for the opening) but now
for the hard part.  What to wear to the gardens!!  Let's see, in '98 the day
before the bus tours we were in shorts and it was 80+ degrees.  Two days later it
was 32 degrees and I was wearing socks on my hands for mittens and we had layered
our T-shirts under our light weight windbreakers.   BRR.....  So, now I pack:
shorts, jeans, T-shirts, sweatshirts, coats, rain poncho, etc.....  Good thing we
are driving, every time I think of something else I just put it in the van <VBG>.
