Well Jeff ,
That is a damn good question and one that I'll be able to
answer when they bloom. I'll be able to confirm by comparing to the
high quality photos on the labels that the irises came in. I'd
sincerely hope that the source in a reputable one . My assumptions at
the time of purchase were that they had to have a higher standard
compared the regular mart irises because they were cultivated and
packaged in Holland , very far from the corruption of the packaged iris
business in North America.
There's a great possibility that I've been fooled but I enjoy
the anticipation and the element of surprise in not knowing what an iris
will look like when it blooms for the first time.
Thanks for your time and I'll keep you posted when these
irises bloom next year.
