OT: plants from Holland
My assumptions at
>the time of purchase were that they had to have a higher standard
>compared the regular mart irises because they were cultivated and
>packaged in Holland , very far from the corruption of the packaged iris
>business in North America.
Ask any American commercial nurseryman their opinion of perennial stocks
from Holland. They might say that the opposite is the case--much
mislabelled material comes out of the Land of Wooden Shoes. One problem is
that plants are grown from the seed of named varieties, then sold labelled
as that variety.
