I've been thinking the same myself. I would be more than willing to be
your "dedicated volunteer." I have the materials/equipment available and
what I may not, is readily available to me at my work. (I've been in the
computer/networking support field for years now.)

There was a suggestion that the AIS Bulletins be scanned and made
searchable
for ease of research. This would be an excellent project - but it would
take
a dedicated volunteer to lead it. Again, this could be YOU.
