HYB: midnight crosses

As I was about to head off for bed I remembered some pollen I brought
inside to dry out a bit. I meant to do the cross earlier this evening, but
what the heck I did it just now (almost midnight). I know that bees don't
do it at midnight, but is there any reason to think this won't work?? I
mean flowers don't turn "off" at night do they?
