I've been playing with the register here too. If you type in f'rinstance 'z'
you get all the irises that start with 'z' and any iris containing the
letter 'z'. The alphabetic listing would be very useful to people who DON'T
have a name for their baby. If you just scan through the lists, you come up
with ideas for names, and can see in an instant, what isn't there.
Just an hour or so playing around like this, would give you a hundred or so
possible names, to be squirreled away and used at sometime in the future.
I have been filling the gaps in my own database of irises, but unfortunately
many of the gaps are for irises >1990.
