That is an valid observation, Bill. I did not look at it from that angle.
Ten bucks just struck me as entirely too cheap for what one would be getting
considering it would probably cut into sales of Check Lists, and since I
figure some interested people will plan on sharing a subscription, and since
it probably will cost something to maintain the system itself ....my
subjective reaction was that the fee really should be higher. I was just
worrying about AIS underpricing a possible source of useful revenue and
remembering that many irisarians routinely spend forty dollars for new
introductions, attend regional and national conventions, bid on auctions,
upgrade their computers, buy new digital cameras ...
But, as I said, it was just a gut reaction.
