That sounds like a curious cross, Mary. Talk to Lind Mann about pallida
crosses. She really likes pallida and has done some work with it. I don't
have Swertii here, but I had a remarkable bloom on little MA MIE finally fade
this morning. It had ridden out three inches of hard rain in a few hours and
then drizzle for two days and then I went out and unstuck its fallen little
standards and they perked up and it carried right on for two more days.
Wonderful little iris.
I guess with time we will hear more details about all that new online
searchable stuff. My first thought when I heard ten bucks was to recall the
price of a first-run movie, so comparitively the ten sounded like such a
pittance.
