Forgive me if I am recommending a book that's already been suggested, but
for a beginner, I'd recommend William Shear's new title...it is available
through AIS, unless I'm mistaken. I also like WORLD OF IRIS (a product of
AIS), but for the beginner, I think Shear is less intimidating and more
user-friendly. Just my opinion.
As time goes by, you will probably want to avail yourself of more advanced
works...but you have plenty of time for that!
