Re: TB: IB: BB: Calling all weird iris

Hello Amy,

I grow several that qualify. You might consider the following:

CHIMERA (Zurbrigg '61) - doubt there are many irises more
unique than this IB. Grows well for me in my part of Texas
which is also odd for a median.

MOCAMBO (Denney '78) - this TB with gray-green standards
is not as weird looking as a written description makes it sound,
but the color of the standards were a new shade to me. Combined
with essentially strong violet falls, it is also a high contrast bloom.

JUNGLE SHADOWS (Sass He-Graham '60) - a BB which others can
surely describe better, but is definitely well named. Looked great
in the hot Texas sun this year.

TRAITOR (Jamieson '94) - the buds on this TB are the color of khaki
trousers which opens to standards of a similar shade over falls of
light violet blue bordered with the same khaki shade and set off by
an outstanding darker blue bushy beard. Is proving to be a prolific
    bloomer here.
