Once again, I am writing to you about our forthcoming book. Harry Abrams is
our publisher and we are under contract to produce a book on iris. We are
looking for fine iris (dwarf, intermediate, tall bearded, siberians, japanese
and louisiana) in garden settings. We live on the East End of Long Island
and can travel within a day's distance to photograph. It is now almost dwarf
iris time. We are in touch with a number of members of the dwarf iris
society. If any of you know of any lovely gardens which will be in bloom
with dwarf iris toward the end of April, we would be most grateful for some
information. We are gentlemen by the way, and if anyone requests that their
name or location not be included in the photo caption we respect that request
