Steve: In reply to your query:
ZUA - (aka Crepe Paper Iris) is registered as a white self but at times
depending on the soil pH it can show itself as a pale, pale blue-white
and of course it has that very distinctive "crepey" appearance.
BLUE ZUA - (aka Elizabeth Huntington) is a sport of ZUA and is
registered as B1M which translates (I think) as a medium blue self.
Again soil pH might be a determining factor in the depth of the blue
color and, perhaps, affect the depth of color in both the S. and F.
giving what you see as a neglecta. Here, too, you would have the crepe
paper appearance.
I have slides of both in my files, but alas, have no means of producing
them for display on the net.
Hope this helps.
