REF: Finding iris books at the best prices

>So 'thank-you' to the person who said where it was available--and now I
>shall go looking at a-1 for more books--

That was I, and I'm glad I could help you find the book. In case anyone
else on the list is seeking iris-related books (or any other books, for
that matter), I thought I'd pass along my favorite book buying strategy.
There is a TERRIFIC website called AddAll through which I
buy almost all of my books. You can find it at http://www.addall.com

It is essentially a search engine of many major and minor booksellers
around the country. You type in the book you're looking for, tell it how
you would like the books ranked (I prefer in ascending order by price),
identify the state to which you will have the book shipped, and it will
return a comprehensive list of all the member booksellers who carry the
book. Best of all, it will also automatically add in the shipping cost,
so you get perfectly accurate price comparisons between sellers. It's
GREAT!

AddAll also has a used book search through which I have
purchased a number of wonderful used books - several of which are out of
print. Oddly, though, I have on several occasions found the same book
offered cheaper as a new book than used, so make sure you check both the
new and used book searches for the same book. Be careful to read the
descriptions of any used book you're interested in to make sure you are
getting the edition you want, as older editions are included with newer
editions in the comparisons. Also, the used book search does NOT compute
shipping charges like the new search does, so you will need to go to each
bookseller's linked website to find shipping charges on used books.

Hope this proves useful for any interested talkers (and readers),

Laurie
