I saw a plant in a garden over the weekend. The owner said it was a "black
calla lily. It had a tuberous stalk about a foot high, which was ivory with
dull grey-green mottling. No flower yet. Weirdly attractive. Some
internet sites list an "arum palaestinum" black calla, but I have no idea if
it is the same plant. Anybody heard of this?
