Fellow travelers,
Wanted to share some info before I get excommunicated again.
Three times now since Yahoo has taken over, I have suddenly found
myself unable to access iris-talk after visiting it regularly for
weeks. It is on my Favorites, route hasn't changed, but suddenly
they show me a screen for me to sign in and then don't 'recognize' my
ID and/or Password. Had to jump through a lot of hoops, including
changing ID and Password, to get reconnected.
This time, I went a different route. On the Yahoo search engine,
typed in iris-talk, which took me to the request to subscribe. I
clicked on it, and this time they recognized my e-mail address and
informed me I was already registered. So without changing ID or
Password, I got back, with ability to post and reply. Then I saved
that on my Favorites, with the same wording as before, and it
replaced that entry.
I know I'm not the only one having trouble with Yahoo over staying in
their 'memory', so this was easier than other routes I've tried to re-
register.
