SPEC: bloom report

Yesterday verna opened. The clone was collected in the Biltmore
Forest area, Asheville, NC.

Today cristata, also collected near Asheville, opened first bloom,
and a cv of tectorum opened first bloom in two garden locations.

Our garden is about a week later than Hendersonville, NC, and several
days behind gardens along the French Broad river in the Asheville
area, although our temperatures at night tend to be milder. A few
hundred feet of elevation makes quite a difference.
