Greetings, everyone. I have been asked to do the program on reblommers at
the National next month, May 23 at noon. If you have slides that you want
shown of reblooming irises, please send them to me at Box 52444, Durham NC
27717. If the iris is a seedling,, include as much information as possible,
and especially where it reblooms. Hybridizer, pedigree etc will add
interest. I would suggest that you have a duplicate made, if you do not
already have one, though I will do my best in handling these slides.
I have also been asked to do judges training for Region 14 at Oakland CA
on June 23. If you are willing I could keep the slide until then and use it
for both programs. I am particularly anxious to get more Space-Age slides
for the Oakland event, for they will be the subject of the afternoon
session, with remontants occupying our attention in the morning session.
The talls are well started here. There is a nice new creamy pink with
upward-curling spoons on good stalks. We have record-breaking highs and
lows, and the number of stalks is greatly reduced. Lloyd Zurbrigg.
