>If I recall correctly you are about 5 miles inland from Morrow Bay? How
wet does your ground stay or are you past the foggy soggy line where you live?
Joanna
Morro Bay is about 5 miles away. It's sandy soil, mixed with potting soil.
Water doesn't stay long. We have LOTS of fog June, July & August. Our
summer (75degrees)sun comes in Sept & Oct. I only saw EW bloom the first
year...no blooms since. We only get maybe 85 or 90 degrees 4 to 5 days of
the year. We also haven't had a freeze since 1990. It's been illegal to
climb Morro Rock as long as I can remember, so when you climbed it must
have been MANY years ago. Afternoon Delight does wonderfully here. I have
a question about an old TB that my mother planted way back in the early
70's. She didn't know the name but it blooms every year. It's med. purple
& smells like grape. Any guesses?
