CULT: Stalks Ahoy!

Hello, Everyone!

Reading bloom reports from the higher numbered Zones while snow still
lingers on the ground here always increases the feeling of iris
anticipation. Spring has been later than usual in putting in an appearance
in these parts (for the phenologists in the audience, the peach trees have
just begun to bloom), but today I discovered that there are iris stalks in
sight on ALPINE LAKE, an MDB that is nearly always the first bearded iris
to bloom here each year, and on three TB rebloomers - CHAMPAGNE ELEGANCE,
DUKE OF EARL, and MARIPOSA AUTUMN!

Suddenly, all is right with the world!
