Jeff, I know your feeling that suddenly things have straightened out. After a very cold winter, extra cool spring, we have immediately moved into early summer. And yesterday morning, there was our first iris, i. pumila 'atroviolacea', always our first to show, and a tiny jewel of about 3" tall. After all our late cold I really didn't expect we'd even see it in April, and now, here it is! Spring has even reached the upper midwest!
