SPEC-X:Cast Ashore, etc.

Chuck Chapman,

I want everbody to know how well your beardless do in the heat of the
southern US. NORTHERN VALENTINE bloomed long before the show and was
quite nice. CAST ASHORE won a blue ribbon at our show yesterday and
was a show stopper. It is nothing short of a masterpiece. Since it
will grow in the heat here, it should do well all over, I think.

Speaking of beardless, does anybody know of another versicolor like
JOHN WOOD, which is quite adaptable to the south. The ones from New
England and other colder areas do not do well here. MYSTERIOUS
MONIQUE, CAT MOUSAM, and MURRYANA are examples of the iffy type.
