Howdy All,

Actually...... Lapeirousia laxa became Anomatheca laxa..... which has
recently been reclassified into Freesia.

Now officially Freesia laxa (and other cultivars suck as 'Alba' 'Joan
Evans' etc).

Family is definitely Iridaceae (although I must admit I never realised that
Freesias were Iridaceae!! You learn something new every day <grin>).

They grow freely from seed, including the various varieties. All seem to
grow basically true from seed rather than reverting to wild forms. Very
pretty.
