I think this irid has been renamed Lapeirousia laxa and seeds can be
planted anytime during Spring and early Summer. Scott Ogden in GARDEN
BULBS FOR THE SOUTH discusses planting these like gladiolas to achieve
almost contnuous bloom. I'm a little dim on the exact procedure bcause
it's been a while since I read about it. I think they will naturalize
and reseed and achieve a similar result on their own, thus providing a
long season of blooms.
