OT: IRIS CUFFS on Bellbottoms! Yow! Re: AIS:Memphis 2002

"Even the men wore shirts of iris fabrics, and I remember some 'iris
> cuffs' on bell-bottom denims. I still have some ties in various
widths, mainly the wide, wide ones."

Hi Walter,

IRIS CUFFS ON BELL BOTTOMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I'd love to get some pants like that! (Except they'd have to be
a bunch bigger than the bell bottoms I used to wear! I turned 50 on
March 14!).

Would love to see your iris tie! (Can you post an OT picture? or
send me a picture?).

My housemates and I just started going to iris meetings in the last
year or so, just staffed part of a garden show for the Sydney B.
Mitchell club. I think it'd be fun if we dressed up for shows!
But of course, being the feminist-hippie type that I am, I'd want to
wear a tuxedo. (Used to wear one sometimes, performing on
harpsichord and recorder).

Anyone know where to get iris-themed fabrics?

Gesine
who just today bought some cheesy dish towels with iris pictures on
them
