Hello,
I live in central New York, just a stone throw away from Cooperstown. I have
had iris for several years. My first iris was the wild blue flag iris that I
collected near my parents home. Currently I have some unknown TB and a few
SIB. I have tried my hand at hybridizing daylilies for a few years and would
like to try hybridizing TB iris, mainly blue/purple reblooming plicatas
which are my favorite.
I also have a historic interest in TB iris. I have a large collection of
Brother Charles Reckamp daylilies so now I am trying to find all of his iris
creations that I can. With the help of Jeff Walters and HIPS I have managed
a handful. Does anyone on the list grow or know a source for any of the
following TB iris?
Canary Frills
Celestial Blue
Enchanted Pink
Frilly Fringes
Mission Moonlight
Mission Rose
Orchid Jewel
Regal Ruffling
Any help in locating these plants would be greatly appreciated.
