Mark,
While researching for the website I was able to come up with a few names of
some of his iris which he hybridized around 1960. Being an avid collector of
his daylilies I decided to look into getting as many of his iris that I
could. Brother Charles moved to hybridizing daylilies because the iris were
in bloom the same time that Mission Gardens, which he managed, was at it's
busiest.
One gentleman that I placed an order with for several Reckamp daylilies is
sending me a Techny arborvitae as a gratis plant, another of Brother Reckamp
s creations.
It must have been someone else on the snail mail robin. I've never been a
member of one.
