After my tale of woe and misery on Sunday, yesterday a seedling came up in
another pot and today another in yet another pot. Maybe they are just going
to run late. I still think it is far too late to expect high germination
rates and it will make it more difficult to have all of them big enough for
transplanting from the pots into the seedling beds during the first couple
of weeks in May when that usually happens, but it is an encouragement to
holding the pots over another year and see what might appear. I was
wondering if even that would be worthwhile if nothing else sprouted.

undoubtedly become the focus of my iris mania. Don't know whether that is
good news or bad for the little fellows.
