Because the lawnmower in not marker friendly, I have discovered a strategy
superior to a big knife or lopper to remove tough last year's growth on
siberians, grasses, New England asters, hibiscus, spuria etc. It is a
small bowsaw pruner. It makes fast work of an otherwise onerous task.
