They do not have beards. I have had them for three years. the ones that get shade have done very well with almost no care. The others disapeared. Maybe that is a clue. They are hardy here. If they are supposed to enjoy moist roots they are tough enough to go without as I treat them just like the TB's.

Wendy, if they have beards, they are tall bearded, but may be old diploid
forms. Or else they are very tall Miniature Tall Bearded.
