My guess is a lychoris (spelling?) Spider lily. Fall bloom on a naked stem.
Bulb similar to Dutch Iris in grown sheithed skin and gerneally larger.Spring
foliage habit similar to lariope (spelling?) monkey grass. Foliage dormant in
summer. Red most common flower color here. Many varieties/colors exist.
Enjoy pop quizzes and like to guess at multiple choice questions. Have heard
the spider lily called spider iris by a young 80 year old before.
