  One thing that goes on that has not been mentioned is
  trades.  "I'll trade my intros for yours."  I have four 
  dealers with large catlogs and great distribution that I trade with 
  automatically each year.

  Over the years, I have been honored with two requests from
  Schreiners - as many of PURGATORY and LEMON CHESS that I
  could supply.  PURGATORY was sold by Schreiners for several years,
  withdrawn, and then returned to the catalog. It's gone again now.
  So far LEMON CHESS has not been offered in their catalog,
  but they have not had it long enough to increase the stock. I
  am sure they would never advertise anything without having all
  rhizomes bloom first to make sure the cultivar is correct.

  Sometimes I see my things in lists, catalogs, and rebloom reports
  and marvel at the distribution.  Getting rebloom reports from 
  England, France, and Australia is quite pleasing.  Old PEPPER BLEND,
  introduced twenty-five years ago) and Miss Scarlett (not quite so old)
  still are around and in polls.
