Heavily ruffled when used in reference to "Sea Power" would be.....an
"understatement" to be sure.  By far the most popular Ruffled Blue in our
garden.  Up for the Dykes Medal this year too.

It was created from two Schreiner's iris but is Keith's creation.  
 
SEA POWER (Keith Keppel, R. 1998). Sdlg. 93-89B. TB 38" (97 cm) M.  
"S. cornflower to campanula blue (M&P 42-10-E), paling to light chicory
blue 
(42-B-7) toward edge; style arms cornflower to campanula blue; F. commodore

blue (43-F-12), paling slightly toward edge, slight tan haft suffusion;
beards 
 blue white at end, light lemon in throat; heavily ruffled; pronounced sweet

fragrance. Yaquina Blue X Jazz Me Blue., Keppel 1999. "
