Linda, I really appreciate your plea on my behalf, but it's really not
necessary.

When it comes to crosses and potential advancement in my work, last spring
was just awesome! I couldn't have asked for better. This year was scheduled
for "left over" crosses, or things that didn't bloom as expected last year.
It's true that I would have probably made another 50 crosses this spring!
<vbg> But I don't really feel the pressure. I have hundreds of seedlings to
plant from 2006. I doubt I'll get them all planted this spring.

When all the little seedlings turned dark green and fell over, I had no idea
most would be okay after some cool days and plenty of rain. Some will die,
but most will not. Others had the tips burned and look like they will pull
through. There are only a couple of crosses that will be a total loss, and
they must not have been as strong as the rest.

There were 58 crosses going in three different directions. 1) strong
rebloom 2) gene combining of my irises (mainly strong rebloom too), and 3)
inclusion of many Australia & west coast rebloomers.

There are one or two crosses I'd like someone to make and send me the seed.
Someone made the offer and I've just now thought of the cross I REALLY need
. . .

Matrix X Rippling River
Again & Again X Rippling River
Renown X Rippling River

Any strong rebloomer X Rippling River would be good.
