Re: OT: Oak Leaves

Thanks, Connie. After I posted that I tried Google again, and came up with
this interesting article from Tennessee that talks about lots of different
plants including irises and my sad looking hostas. It just came out on
Saturday.

I typed in "oak leaves recover from spring freeze." That seemed to cover it.

| Does anyone know if oak trees will recover from a freeze? I've never seen
| this happen before. I took a photo of the baby oak leaves and pollen,
about

| critters, brown and crackly as can be. Since there's lots of warm weather

to

| I have been told that many deciduous trees have at least 2 sets of leaves
&

but
| have not found verification as yet. Iguess the best bet would be to ask
you
