Speaking of Earthworms & my 4 fall iris

So far, I've had 4 different iris in totally different areas of yard w 4
falls, 2 of which also had 4 standards. Side Note:(By the way-when I started
building the soil here-I went to a fish bait shop and got a pint of each of
their worms) They've multiplied so-- I could open my own bait shop. HA!

I have sort of a theory: I use lots of well rotted mature from this horse
farm that breeds Arabian horses. I'm sure these horses get the best of
medical care. This farm uses lots of sawdust in their stables, so by the
time I get the manure it is really rich.

Could it be possible that some of the medicines, vaccines etc that they use
to keep these horses healthy are past on and could cause some of these
mutation in my iris. ??????
Has anyone else that has had iris w 4 falls used manure from a farm that
might have these ingredients?? Or maybe it's just b/c it is so rich.??
Sometimes I'm surprised I get blooms and not just a lot of green leaves.

I know weather is also suppose to be a factor, but again I'm wondering what
sort of weather conditions seem to make iris more likely to bloom 4 falls.
Does any know or have a theory??
