Re: Frost/freeze tolerance

" Are you saying you "lost" stalks/buds or the plant
from the freezing?"

Those were ones that I lost stalk on...Most of my
foliage looks fine except for one bed that has a
horrible case of leaf spot now. No leaf spot at all
before the freeze, after the freeze it started showing
up and then with 3 days of rain, clouds and cool
weather it is horrible.

I do have some that are showing color and beginning
to open. So it wasn't a complete loss this yr. What I
find strange is that I have the same No ID clump on
both ends of my deck. The one on the west side did
better than the one on the South side. West side has 3
open blooms and lots of buds in color. The other clump
has no open blooms, and only 2 buds in color. That
clump lost bloom stalks and buds.. Both are the same
distance from the house and were planted at the same
time.

Tomorrow will tell a lot. I plan on getting out
there and cleaning up everything that was damaged. I
will take notes on everything and let you know what
did or did not make it for me
