CULT: aphids

While I was just taking a break from planting seedlings, a chipping sparrow came up, announced I was interfering with his lunch, then proceeded to hop along the row gleaning aphids off the iris leaves!
I don't know if he's starved or if this is something they always do, but I had to share.
