Re:HYB: yellow from IMM??


Thanks Chuck. Although this particular yellow turned out to be due to an aggressive/migratory seedling from HARVEST OF MEMORIES, it's interesting that such a thing is possible.

IMMORTALITY has produced a lot of creams and pale yellows here, but not any strong yellows.

Your reply makes me curious to see if the purple ones have any non water soluble yellow (i.e., potential pink) pigment - something entertaining to do with the few irises blooming this year. Not much pollen on anything yet.
