Not seeing any sign of bloomstalks on anything here yet, but it's still early for what I grow.
I'm with you, Christian. I've had brief frost as late as May 1 here - fortunately, not bad enough to kill any but the most sensitive. Blackened a few tomato leaves, but didn't kill the plant.
"Average" date of last frost is mid April here.Trees don't seem nearly as much leafed out now as they were by the April 6 (?) freeze last year, but if this rainy warmth keeps up, it won't be long.
Sunflower seeds planted about a week ago are starting to come up. Lettuce (Romaine & ruffled head type) under Reemay is eating size, but not big enough to cut whole plants.
