Re: TB: CULT:

Mel -- I have noticed this on various plants occasionally. There seems to be no pattern in terms of one iris being more subject to it than another, year-in, year-out. I've always just put it down to a fluke of nature, perhaps related to weather. -- Griff

I have a few irises that are having problems with the leaves emerging on the increases. The center leaves get caught in the outer leaves and as the growth
process goes, they double up. I have to actually pull them apart from the
outer leaf. Does anyone have any idea what causes this? It is on irises that were divided last fall. I did spray with Daconil the 15th of March and 2 wks later with Bayleton as a preventive against leaf spot. The main plant was 4-5 inches tall at that point. Other than that, here in the Pacific NW, we have
had a cool, wet spring. Again, has anyone experienced this? Thanks.
