Same here, seeing the results of the night of frost we had here. I'm pretty sure it only got down to 32 F based on the forecast and the predominant damage was exposed buds. As I noted previously Desert Pansy & Boaz (1/2 OGB's), Smoldering Fire, and a TB seedling all shrugged it off to my amazement.
Some stalks aborted on mature clumps so unless they are a particularly valuable seedling or there aren't others bloomed in the cross they will get tossed.
I was also suprised by the amount of frost tolerance variation (buds and foliage) within my closely related diploid lines and siblings within the same cross. So obviously this problem is not exclusive to the tetraploid TB's and their related derivatives. It made for easier culling though as my diploids don't have much basic variation at this stage.
